As Galvanic Energy’s senior geologist, Garrett Powell leads the company’s efforts in the exploration and development of lithium and other critical minerals from deep subsurface brine reservoirs. He plays a key role in designing geomodels, well completions, and data-driven solutions that support Bright Star's innovative approach to critical mineral development in the United States.

With over a decade of experience in geology, Garrett’s technical expertise spans structural modeling, petrophysics, geochemistry and hydrogeology. He is also knowledgeable in the development and use of AI-driven log and seismic tools. 

Garrett’s work reflects a strong commitment to innovation, operational excellence and environmental responsibility. Since joining Galvanic in 2019, he has contributed to the advancement of machine learning applications in subsurface modeling and has designed optimized workovers and recompletions across oil and gas assets. 

Garrett holds Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology from Oklahoma State University. He is actively involved in the geoscience community, currently serving as treasurer of the Oklahoma City Geological Society.
